This Veterans Day, thank a terminally-ill veteran for their service with a final Dream. Support Dreams for Veterans!
MAKE A GIFT TODAY OR JOIN OUR DREAM HEROES FOR VETERANS MONTHLY GIVING CLUB.
Over the past 28 years, we have given life to over 34,000 Dreams. Having fulfilled veterans’ Dreams from the start, we launched our Dreams for Veterans program in 2014 to better serve those who have served our country. Since 2014, we have served over 1,550 Dreams and counting to terminally-ill veterans through the program.
Join us in giving life to the final Dreams of terminally-ill veterans and their families in Texas and across the nation.
Your gift will help fulfill final Dreams for terminally-ill U.S. military veterans, active service members, and members of the Reserve and National Guard.
Growing up a proud Texan, Mark wanted to serve his country and joined the U.S. Air Force as soon as he could.
When Mark reached out to us, he’d been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). The disease had already taken so much from him. In the end, he knew it would take everything. An avid NASCAR fan, Mark dreamed of traveling to Richmond, Virginia, and spending a weekend watching a NASCAR race with his wife, Elsie.
Thanks to the compassionate support of people like you, Mark and Elsie had a wonderful time at the race. Afterward, Elsie shared, “I can’t tell you when I’ve seen Mark smile so much. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this happen.”
U.S. Air Force veteran Mark’s Dream of watching a NASCAR race was made possible thanks to the generosity of people like you!
Every gift counts.
Joining the Dream Heroes for Veterans monthly giving club is the best way to make veterans’ Dreams come true. You’ll receive regular updates on the veterans you have helped and the Dreams you make possible.
Dreams cover essential needs, bring families and loved ones together at the end and help veterans visit military memorials and attend pinning ceremonies.
Dreams also serve all those involved in the experience; recipients’ families, loved ones and care teams.
Dream recipients are U.S. military veterans, those currently on active duty, in the reserve or National Guard diagnosed with a life-limiting illness and a life expectancy of 12 months or less. Please visit the Dreams for Veterans application page to learn more.
